Located in Middle Tennessee, our small boutique breeding program is dedicated to quality, not quantity. Our breeding dogs are tested to the highest standards. Dogwood Doodle puppies are raised in our home with love, handling, and socialization from birth.

What is an authentic Multi-generational Australian Labradoodle?

The breed originated in Australia dating back to the 1980’s. The  intention was to create an allergy friendly guide dog. Three breeds create the Australian Labradoodle:

Labrador Retriever, Poodle, and Cocker Spaniel.

All of Dogwood Doodles dogs are Multigenerational Labradoodles.

The breed has three sizes:

Miniature (15-26 lbs.), Medium (30-45 lbs.), and Standard (50-65 lbs).

The labradoodle offers a wide variety of colors; black, chocolate, red, caramel, and cream to name some. Australian Labradoodles have two considered coats.

– Wavy or Curly Fleece:  A soft and wavy or loose curled coat compared to an Angora goat.

– Wool:  A dense and tighter curled coat which feels similar to sheep’s wool.

Australian Labradoodles are loving, loyal, sociable, and intelligent. With the breed being hypoallergenic and minimal to non-shedding, they are a wonderful family member for anyone who suffers from allergies and/or asthma.
